What do these names mean?

Model and treasure name

The model is the object you see on the campaign map. The treasure name is the label shown when you hover over it.

Event name and options

The event name appears at the top of the encounter window. Option 1 is the left choice; Option 2 is the right choice.

Proof of concept

After picking Option 1 (Explore the Island) and winning the battle, The Cursed Islet gives an 8,000 reward in the game, matching the 8,000 gold reward shown in the guide.
